Client Portal Invites
When you invite a client, they receive a secure link to access their own portal where they can view service history, photos, notes, and invoices — all without needing a password.
Sending an Invite
- Open the client's profile
- Click the Invite button in the profile header
- Enter the client's email address (pre-filled from their contact info)
- Click Send Invite
The client receives an email with a secure invite link.
What the Client Sees
When a client clicks the invite link:
- They're taken to a branded Invite Landing Page showing who's inviting them
- They sign in with their email (magic link — no password)
- They automatically get the Client role and can see their service history
Managing Invites
- Resend — If the client didn't receive the email, click Resend on an existing invite
- View History — See all sent invites, their status (Sent, Accepted, Cancelled), and timestamps
- Multiple Contacts — You can invite any contact email associated with the client
Shared Access
After a client has accepted their invite, you can give additional people access to the same account via Shared Access:
- Click the Share icon on the client profile
- Enter the additional person's email
- They'll receive an access link to join
This is useful for spouses, family members, or anyone else who needs to view the service history.
Tips
- Invites are one-time links — each generates a unique token
- The client only needs to sign in once; subsequent visits use their normal login
- You can see whether a client has accepted from the client profile
