Invite a Client to the Portal

Send invite links so clients can view their service history, photos, and invoices online.

Client Portal Invites

When you invite a client, they receive a secure link to access their own portal where they can view service history, photos, notes, and invoices — all without needing a password.

Sending an Invite

  1. Open the client's profile
  2. Click the Invite button in the profile header
  3. Enter the client's email address (pre-filled from their contact info)
  4. Click Send Invite

The client receives an email with a secure invite link.

What the Client Sees

When a client clicks the invite link:

  1. They're taken to a branded Invite Landing Page showing who's inviting them
  2. They sign in with their email (magic link — no password)
  3. They automatically get the Client role and can see their service history

Managing Invites

  • Resend — If the client didn't receive the email, click Resend on an existing invite
  • View History — See all sent invites, their status (Sent, Accepted, Cancelled), and timestamps
  • Multiple Contacts — You can invite any contact email associated with the client

Shared Access

After a client has accepted their invite, you can give additional people access to the same account via Shared Access:

  1. Click the Share icon on the client profile
  2. Enter the additional person's email
  3. They'll receive an access link to join

This is useful for spouses, family members, or anyone else who needs to view the service history.

Tips

  • Invites are one-time links — each generates a unique token
  • The client only needs to sign in once; subsequent visits use their normal login
  • You can see whether a client has accepted from the client profile
